For arts and crafts during our fashion week event, we encouraged the children to design their very own unique outfits, sparking their creativity and imagination. We provided them with a variety of materials like fabric scraps, ribbons, sequins, and buttons, allowing them to experiment with textures, colors, and patterns. Each child had the opportunity to sketch their ideas first, before bringing their designs to life. They were free to express their personal style, mixing bold prints or creating delicate designs, resulting in a vibrant array of imaginative outfits. The project not only celebrated fashion but also fostered their confidence and individual creativity.

Aria stood out with her incredible use of blue and pink. Her design was a perfect blend of boldness and elegance, showcasing a understanding of colour harmony. The blue she chose ranged from soft pastels to vibrant, electric tones, creating a sense of calm yet lively energy. Pink, on the other hand, added warmth and femininity, beautifully balancing the coolness of the blues.
What made her design truly remarkable was how she combined these contrasting hues in a seamless and sophisticated way. She layered them thoughtfully. The details in her patterns and textures highlighted her creative, as she played with light and shadow, making the colors almost come to life. Her design was visually stunning.
Carmelo stood out with his creative and edgy model that impressed both judges. His task was to design a space that captured the essence of school life but with a modern, rebellious twist.
His model featured a sleek, futuristic outfit with bold colours, modern design and edge cut.
The overall design was both functional and artistic, capturing the essence of school life but pushing boundaries with a creative edge. His model perfectly balanced the familiar with the unexpected, making it a clear standout and earning him high praise in the competition.
Freddie stunned the judges with his unique and innovative creation: a model designed to look like a penguin. From the moment his project was revealed, it was clear that he had put immense thought and creativity into every detail.
The model, standing tall with sleek black and white colours, perfectly captured the essence of a penguin's form — its round body, smooth curves, and distinctive flippers. Freddie used different textures and materials to give his design a lifelike feel, making the penguin appear as if it were ready to waddle across the ice. He even incorporated subtle details, like tiny eyes that seemed to sparkle with curiosity and a bright orange beak that added a pop of colour.
In an intense design competition, a talented young girl Ana stood out with her unique and stunning creation, perfectly blending early 2000s fashion with a modern twist. Her design was a nostalgic nod to Paris Hilton, featuring bold, iconic elements like the pink top, metallic fabrics, and chunky accessories. However, she elevated the look with contemporary touches, such as sleek tailoring, sustainable materials, and minimalist accents. Her model embodied the essence of the early 2000s—edgy, playful, and daring—while remaining fresh and relevant to today's trends.
